The Grandfather rights (the ‘Rights’) are a set of positions agreed by the Minister to regularise the transitional period regarding the Taxi cab regulation reform programme.

These Rights were part of the industry consultation ahead of the submission of Ministerial Decision, MD-T-2015-0079, and they helped to formulate the content of this MD. A copy of MD-T-2015-0079 can be located on www.gov.je using the following link:
