Future Hospital project enabling works (FOI)

Please provide a breakdown of the expenditure in the £56 million enabling fund for the construction of the new hospital and whether, or not, this spend is accounted for in the £40.2 million declared as having been spent by the Government on the Future Hospital project.

Response

There was no separate enabling fund for the Future Hospital Project. Enabling works were undertaken under an enabling works budget, however all such project budgets were part of the agreed Future Hospital funding of £466 million.
