Please confirm the following:

Is the Nightingale contract being extended?

If so for how long and at what cost?

What is the estimated cost of remedial works at the end of the contract to restore the field to its original pre-Nightingale condition?

A and B

A formal decision on the future of the Nightingale Hospital Wing has not yet been made. Whilst it is likely that the contract will be extended we are unable to provide a definitive response at this time. The decision, once made, will be made publically available.

These questions are therefore exempt under Article 36 (Information intended for future publication) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

Growth Housing and Environment (GHE) are currently in the process of commissioning a piece of work to enable the specification to be written to go out to tender for the removal of the Nightingale Wing facility including the remediation of the field. We are therefore unable to answer this question at this time.
