Response

A
The Site Shortlisting Panel comprised:

Director General - Health & Community Services: Caroline Landon
Clinical Director - Our Hospital Project: Ashok Handa
Our Hospital Interim Project Director: Richard Bannister
Chief of Staff: Catherine Madden
Director of Natural Environment: William Peggie

with Support from technical advisors from:

Head of Planning – Major Projects: Richard Glover
Jersey Government Highways & Infrastructure employees who are of a less senior level. Their names are therefore not being released further to Article 25 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.
Hospital Planning, architecture and design: Representative of MJMedical, the partner providing Health Planner services for the project.

B
The individuals named above hold the appropriate qualifications and have the relevant experience to undertake the role for which they have been employed and to provide advice with respect to the responsibilities of the Site Shortlisting Panel. To share their specific qualifications and experience, would likely breach the privacy of the individuals and therefore, Article 25 (Personal information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.

C
It is anticipated that the Interim Project Director will remain in post for the duration of the pre-construction phase of the project subject to a successful appointment of a permanent Project Director.  It is anticipated that a permanent Project Director will be recruited for the construction phase, however, this is dependent upon recruiting the right candidate with the appropriate skills and experience.
