As part of the Health & Community Services COVID-19 strategy, it has been necessary to realign bed capacity and staffing requirements to maintain a safe environment for Patients, Visitors and Staff. The table below reflects the position at midnight on the 23rd of August.

The Mental Health Care Group do not currently have a secure unit on island. The facilities we have are for assessment and treatment. Service users who require secure unit services are transferred to the UK. Orchard House is not a secure unit as defined by NHS England.

Active beds are beds that are available. Beds may be unavailable for example because of cleaning or physical distancing. This data extract is for the inpatient situation at midnight on 23 August 2020
