Could you please provide me with the name of the blood glucose meter used by your ambulance services in both Jersey & Guernsey?
Were these blood glucose meters purchased by the service or provided free of charge from the company?
How many boxes of 50 of the associated blood glucose test strips does your service use each year?
Where do you get your supply of these test strips? (direct from the company etc.?)
When is the next review of the choice of blood glucose meter used by the ambulance services due?

The initial trial monitors were provided by the local diabetic clinic, we purchased the rest but through the trial with Health & Community Services (HCS).
Approx. 20 boxes per year.
Abbott Laboratories through Supply Jersey.
No set time scale but trials will be in coordination with the diabetic clinic and HCS.
No this is undertaken by HCS.
