I am writing to request any information you have on TIA referral pathways, protocols or guidelines which allow paramedics the option of bypassing the accident and emergency department.
I would also like to have the name and contact details of the lead person responsible for this.
Response
States of Jersey Ambulance service currently do not have any pathways protocols or guidelines that give Paramedics the option of bypassing the emergency department for patients who are having / have had a TIA.
