Request

Can you provide me with the break down of who has so far received a vaccination?

Breaking down into:

  • gender

  • nationality

  • ethnicity

  • age

  • clinically vulnerable vs non-clinically vulnerable

Response

The total number of vaccinations are published online by the Government of Jersey on the Covid-19 vaccination statistics page on the gov.je website.

The Total vaccination doses administered by Gender, Age groups; High risk and Moderate risk can be found in the link below:

Covid-19 vaccination statistics web page

The vaccination numbers are published online and issued to the media on a twice weekly basis which will accurately reflect data up until the previous Wednesday, and Sunday respectively.

We are currently unable to provide you with a full breakdown of the numbers of people of people vaccinated by nationality or ethnicity.

Incorporating nationality and ethnicity into Public Health statistics is complex. The variables are difficult to define and individuals often identify with more than one nationality or ethnicity. With the data currently available, Jersey faces challenges in incorporating these variables into the vaccination reporting.
