Requirements under the Covid-19 isolation exemption scheme (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 29 April 2021.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

A previous Freedom of Information response indicated that 654 people have been granted exemption from isolation in 2021 until 11 March. Since 26 March we have two new cases identified in Jersey.

A

What are the testing requirements for people granted exemption?

B

Do they undergo a mandatory test on days zero, five and again on day 10 or are rather allowed to skip the testing process at the airport and exit through the main exit from arrivals?

C

Are they obliged to respect other regulations, for example wearing a mask in a taxi from the airport?

D

Are they allowed to enter healthcare facilities ie the Hospital, right after landing at Jersey, and without any testing / result available?

Response

A to D
