I would be very interested to know how many Reliant Scimitar's are registered in Jersey. Presumably you cannot divulge their registration numbers or owners details but I would be very grateful for any information you can disclose.

The following table details the information requested regarding Reliant Scimitars registered in Jersey.

However, it should be noted that the total number of vehicles on the register may not reflect the actual number of vehicles in existence. Unfortunately, despite it being a legal requirement for registered owners to notify DVS within seven days of a vehicle being scrapped or exported DVS is not always notified.
We are unable to provide any owner details or vehicle registration numbers as these may identify an individual. This information is therefore exempt under Article 25 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005.
(2) Information is absolutely exempt information if –
(a) it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is not the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018; and
(b) its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
