Advertising of Fiscal Stimulus Funding (FOI)

Advertising of Fiscal Stimulus Funding (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 19 May 2021.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

The Government have recently announced the first tranche of successful applicants form the £50m Fiscal Stimulus fund. I knew nothing of this fund until first pay-outs were announced. My questions are:

How and where was the Fiscal Stimulus fund scheme advertised to potential applicants ?

For how long was Fiscal Stimulus fund scheme advertised ?

How much money was spent on advertising the Fiscal Stimulus fund scheme ?

Were any groups, clubs, bodies or states departments formally approached by Treasury officials or politicians advising them of the Fiscal Stimulus fund scheme ?

Six press releases were issued between 10 July and 28 January.
