Covid-19 helpline (FOI)

Please can the relevant department provide information about the COVID-19 helpline / contact centre being operated / outsourced to a UK company? Whether this is in full or partial fulfilment of the service.

Where it may not be possible to provide information deemed to be commercially privileged, please provide:

• confirmation that some or all calls to the COVID-19 helpline are being answered off-island (either locally on 445566 or freephone on 0800 735 5566);

• the name and / or location of the off-island company / contractor fulfilling the contact centre;

• the length of the contract;

• evidence of the procurement process and alternative on-island suppliers that were considered

Response

All calls to the Covid Helpline are being answered locally. The Covid Helpline team is based in Jersey and there is no off-island company involved in providing this service.
