Please can you indicate how many parents have applied for relief from Jersey school fees during the pandemic, and the total monetary value. Please can you also indicate if any relief was given without a hardship application?

Response

A total of £101,472 was granted to schools in respect of 63 students. The hardship fund provided financial assistance for school fees to families whose income was impacted by the pandemic. All individuals completed an application for a hardship fund grant, however some parents were given the opportunity to delay their fees and pay in full over a longer period.
