Staffing costs and running costs (heat, light etc) during the school holidays (half terms, summer break, Christmas)
Education, Sport and Culture is unable to present the figures for staffing and running costs as requested.
Highlands College is used all year for teaching and learning.
Teaching staff are paid throughout the year, as are the support staff such as technicians and caretakers.
Running costs are paid for on an ad hoc basis when invoices are received (usually quarterly) and it is not possible to apportion costs to specific periods such as school holidays.
For these reasons we have provided a monthly table of staffing and running costs for 2014:
