What is the alternative route(s) for blue light emergency access to the current hospital in the event of a road closure / blockage on The Parade, between Elizabeth Place and Gloucester Street?

In the event of a road closure / blockage Seal Street and the lower parade would be used in emergencies. An emergency lane would be set up in Gloucester Street for any longer-term disruption.

An emergency lane would be set up in Gloucester Street for emergency vehicles to go up and down, the hospital car park can be accessed with bollards that drop to facilitate vehicle movements. If the road was completely blocked, then the parade entrance would be used this would allow access to the rear door of the emergency department or the rear service lane.
