I am writing to your council to inquire data for any truck restrictions in your local area as our company TomTom get often enquiries from organization like yours to update our maps as trucks are wrongly navigated through unsuitable routes. TomTom would use your data for quality check and update of maps. In this aspect, your data will help to improve routing in navigation systems or in smart phone apps; benefiting all, our customers as well as your local area.

Please see below example of data specifications:

Attributes: eg Maximum Height Allowed, Maximum Length Allowed, Maximum Total Weight Allowed, Maximum Weight Per Axle Allowed, Maximum Width Allowed, Unsuitable for HGVs, City Truck Scheme, Truck Through Traffic Restrictions, Truck City Ban, Truck Local Traffic, Truck routes and so on.

Coverage: eg  Jersey or Saint Helier

Data structure: eg  Vector points or lines or polygons

Supply format: eg  ESRI Shapefile, GeoPackage
