On how many occasions has the Social Security Department agreed to cover the contributions of others who have been unemployed but not registered as seeking work this year.

Response

There have been no occasions where the department has agreed to cover the contributions of individuals who have been unemployed and not registered as seeking work.

Contribution credits are not awarded to any individuals unless they are registered as unemployed with Back to Work and have been through compulsory redundancy.
