Jersey is not part of the UK and the States of Jersey Police are not a UK Home office force and do not have access to the Police Star Board funding.

The States of Jersey Police have an internal development team and use bespoke systems for command and control and crime management systems.

The States of Jersey Police do use some Microsoft systems.

Body worn cameras are not currently sim enabled however, the upgrade to sim use is already in progress. The system is provided and maintained by ‘Reveal’.

As the majority of police systems used are developed in-house, there is little need for external assistance. Budget requirements are managed internally via the police senior management team with bids from individual departments for specific development requests. There are no plans to replace the current systems.
