Mains costs of Overdale and other shortlisted hospital sites.

Mains costs of Overdale and other shortlisted hospital sites.

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 08 September 2021.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

Please provide a comparison of “Mains Costs” comparing Overdale and previous shortlisted sights.

Response

Cost comparisons to support the site selection process were undertaken based on outline designs, prior to the States Assembly decision to approve Overdale as the preferred site and prior to concept design work starting in earnest.

These comparisons are publicly available via www.gov.je. Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has therefore been applied. Please see pages 144-145 of the Site Selection Report in the following link:

Site Evaluation Report

Costings based upon concept designs have now been developed for the Overdale site. These costings can be found on page 20 of the Our Hospital Outline Business Case, which can be found in the following link. Concept designs have not been developed for other sites; neither have the associated costings.
