A

Who paid for these tests?

B

What was the total cost?

Response

A

The Government of Jersey paid for Covid testing for the British and Irish Lions.

B

On return to Jersey, each received a test upon arrival, consistent with every other inbound passenger.

They then also received daily testing, in order to mitigate the risk of Covid. This was stipulated by Public Health and the Deputy Medical Officer of Health. The marginal cost of the additional testing was approximately £22k.
