Request

A

I was wondering how much taxpayers money was used for the air display of military aircraft held on the 9 of September 2021. I would also appreciate any justification for such spending.

B

I would also like to know if any Government owned companies (such as JT and Jersey electricity) donated to the Air Display and if so who and how much.

Response

A

As at 17 September 2021, no public money has been paid in connection with the attendance and / or display of military aircraft at the Jersey International Air Display held on 9 September 2021.

A grant agreement was made between the Government of Jersey and Ports of Jersey Limited for a provision of up to £100K.

The total sum to be claimed by the Ports of Jersey under the grant agreement will be confirmed during Q4 of 2021.
