B(2)

Recruitment costs for the IOB, which also includes the selection of the Chair of the Health and Care partnership Board are £30k, plus VAT.

B(3)

The current plan leads to the Chair being appointed in November and being involved in the selection of the other members. The recruitment agency advised against running the recruitment over the summer due to availability and attention of potential candidates, which has pushed back timelines. On that basis the first meeting will be possible in December 2021 / January 2022 depending on board member availability.

B(4)

The reporting requirements are set out in the terms of reference provided in response to question B(1)

B(5)

The publication requirements are set out in the terms of reference provided in response to question B(1)

B(6)

The independent recruitment panel will make the selection of the best available candidates for the role against the specified job description. There is no specification for residential location.

B(7)

The Independent Oversight Board is accountable to the Minister for Health and Community Services who will arrange the necessary briefings.

B(8)

Yes, there will be communications made regarding the set-up of the board and its members when established.
