Please confirm the total number of working hours lost amongst States of Jersey staff in December 2021 as a result of COVID-19 isolation (including as positive cases, direct contacts, and as carers / indirect contacts of other people in their household who needed to isolate). Please also provide this figure as a percentage of the total number of working hours available, if all staff members were at work.
As at the 18th January 2022, there was a total of 15,567 hours of COVID-19 related absences recorded in December 2021. This figure is 6.6% of the total number of working hours available during December 2021.
Note: zero-hour staff are not included in the above response.
