Grasset Park traffic incidents (FOI)

Grasset Park traffic incidents (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 02 March 2022.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

I would like to know how many road traffic accidents and how many driving infractions (speeding, driving without due care etc.) have happened within Grasset Park Estate per year or month for the last five years.

How many have involved a moving vehicle hitting one or more pedestrians, level of severity of the injury, and location within the estate e.g. junction, corner, a different position.

And finally how many have involved only vehicles.

Response

The States of Jersey Police have no records of any road traffic collisions or driving offences occurring within Grasset Park during the requested timeframe.  The information is therefore not held, and Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

Article applied

Article 3 - Meaning of "information held by a public authority"

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a) it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b) it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
