Co-funding Payroll Scheme staffing (FOI)

Co-funding Payroll Scheme staffing (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 13 June 2022.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

Can you tell me how many people at present and in the last 12 months on the payroll have been involved in checking the data the cofunding department received for the covid cofunding schemes and what the cost is per month for checking the data that the relevant departments received for all the associated covid schemes.

Response

In total nine people have been involved in checking the data for the Co-funding Payroll Scheme. However, as this was not their sole task, and they were involved in non-Covid related administration as well, it is not possible to put a cost to the audit aspect of their roles.

This data is therefore not held and Article 10 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

Article applied

Article 10  - Obligation of scheduled public authority to confirm or deny holding information

(1) Subject to paragraph (2), if –

(a)  a person makes a request for information to a scheduled public authority; and
(b)  the authority does not hold the information, it must inform the applicant accordingly.
