A

Records held by Health and Community Services (HCS) show that £32,190 has been paid to NHS providers for the surgical procedures specified between 1st January 2017 and 31st December 2021. These treatment costs are inclusive of all care provided during the surgical admissions.

HCS do not hold a breakdown of the procedure costs alone, so cannot provide this figure. Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies to this part of the request.

B and C

Both NHS Charring Cross Gender Identity Clinic and NHS Tavistock Gender Identity Clinic are run by Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.

The total spend by the Government of Jersey with Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust for care provided by their Gender Identity Clinic and Gender Identity Development Service between 1st April 2017 and 31st March 2022 is £100,845. This information relates to NHS Financial Years, which run from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.

Figures for the timeframe of 1st January 2017 to 31st December 2021 stipulated in questions 2 and 3 are not held. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies to this part of the request.
