The Survey of Mont les Vaux (FOI)

The Survey of Mont les Vaux (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 14 July 2022.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

Who surveyed the road before resurfacing took place on Mont Les Vaux, in particular by the Church?

Was it internal or external (contracted out)?

Can I see a copy of the survey report please?

Response

In-line with standard practices the road was surveyed by qualified civil engineers from the Jersey Highway Partnership, a framework contract between external engineering consultancy WSP and the Transport section of Infrastructure, Housing and Environment (IHE).

It should be noted that despite some of the survey work being contracted out to WSP, IHE have sign off at every stage.

A copy of the Feasibility Report is attached, however, the appendices are not included due to their size. Permission has been agreed for you to view these.
