I would like to request any commentary [and] consultations in the states regarding the introduction of the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991. I already have the draft propostion, so I am looking for anything which predates this (7th August 1990). In particular I am interested in the report to the F and E committee , by Mr HW Higginson in summer 1985, which gave rise to a consultative document released in August 1986 and forms the basis of the Bill. Apparently there was widepread consultation prior to the formulation of the proposals, so any commentary would be much appreciated.
