- Number of applications refers to the number of students who sat the entrance exam for entry into Year 7 in September of the year stated. For Jersey College for Girls (JCG), this number also includes all students applying from JCG Preparatory School, who are not required to sit the entrance exam (students applying to Victoria College from Victoria College Preparatory School are required to sit this exam).
- Number of students accepted refers to the number of students offered a place for entry in September of the year stated.
- Number taking up place refers to the number of students who joined Year 7 in September of the year stated.
