Request 

I request to be supplied with data on the causes of fires reported to States of Jersey Fire and Rescue Service, including but not limited to those started by disposable BBQs, cigarette litter, broken/discarded glass bottles and sky lanterns. I request that this data is broken down at least by month, for the last 24 months. 

If available, I also request information on the duration and damage caused by those fires and the cost incurred by your service.

Information is not held regarding lanterns or broken glass, etc., specifically and therefore it cannot be provided. In addition, the information held regarding fires caused by smoking materials is, in most cases, the most likely probable cause and not necessarily proven.
