In October’s Jersey Skills show at Fort Regent there were a number of private company exhibitors as part of the 25 stands in the Gloucester Hall.
Of the non-Government of Jersey associated exhibitors, how many have employed Jersey school leavers in the last:
i) 12 months
ii) 5 years.
What steps are taken to ensure that an exhibitor at the Government of Jersey organised event isn't just using the Jersey Skills Show as a shopfront for their private business and in the process obtaining free publicity?
What checks will be made to determine the success rate of non-Government of Jersey associated exhibitors offering employment to young people as a result of the Jersey Skills show?
Is there a fee to exhibit at the show? If so, how much?
The Jersey Skills Show is an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the skills needed within their professions to young people, in order for them to consider their future career paths.
