Please can you share the latest figures on reported and prosecuted crimes related to Domestic Abuse? (2021 and 2022 so far), and of those prosecuted (in each year), how many resulted in a prison sentence, how many received community service, and any other results of conviction (for example, fines etc)?

If you don't have this information for 2021/2022, please share the results of prosecutions for the 2020 figures. 

Response 

At the time of this request the term "Domestic Abuse" does not have a defined meaning under the law and therefore there is no way of directly identifying crimes related to Domestic Abuse in our records. It is therefore not possible to provide any records in response to this request. 

The Draft Domestic Abuse (Jersey) Law 202- before the States Assembly aims to enact a Domestic Abuse (Jersey) Law which will establish an offence of "Domestic Abuse" which will be defined in the law.
