A

There is no designated guardian singularly responsible for all of the Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) available to the public in Jersey. However, Health and Community Services and the Ambulance Service provide assistance in maintaining the devices. 

Ambulance Service records show that there are currently 73 AEDs available in public sites, but do not detail whether these are 'on wall'.

Data on the number of public defibrillators for previous years is not held. Therefore, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or
