Please can you provide up-to-date figures for 2021, 2022 and 2023?

The average cost of LTC domiciliary care in Jersey in 2021, 2022 and 2023 is set out below.

2021 average hourly rate £25.33

2022 average hourly rate £27.16

2023 average hourly rate £30.27 

The rates varied across the following ranges for the three years in question.

2021 hourly rate range £22.00 - £30.12

2022 hourly rate range £24.00 - £31.26

2023 hourly rate range £26.00 - £35.00

The domiciliary care sector offers a variety of services from care assistants through to nursing care which attract different fees. The Government of Jersey is working with the care industry to develop a consistent fee structure as part of the Social Security Minister’s 2023 plan.
