Request

Please could you provide a list of all the companies who have a Cyber Essentials (CE) or Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification?

Response

Information as to whether a company has a current certificate can be accessed on the IASME Consortium website. Please see the link below. Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied. IASME is the national certificating body for CE and CE+:

Certified Organisations (Iasme.co.uk)

The Digital Economy team used to maintain a Government of Jersey website listing companies on Jersey who had gained CE or CE+ certification.  However, these certificates need renewing annually and there is no requirement on companies to send the Government of Jersey their updated certificates.  Therefore, the information on the web page became obsolete and the decision was taken to remove it.

Article applied

Article 23 - Information accessible to applicant by other means

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.

(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
