Please can you tell me what the recruitment process was for the new Head of Patient Experience in Health and Community Services and what grade they are being paid at?


The management structure within the Patient Advisory and Liaison Service (PALS), and the requirements of the service going forwards are under review. As the service review may impact upon the role and responsibilities of the service manager, recruitment to the permanent post will follow.

To ensure continuity of service in PALS, a suitable candidate was identified and appointed on a 12-month fixed term contract at CS Grade 12 (as per the existing post’s job description) to manage the service until recruitment to the permanent post can take place, using the exception to open recruitment process.
