Broad Street offices lifts (FOI)
Broad Street offices lifts (FOI)Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by Government of Jersey and published on 22 May 2023.
Prepared internally, no external costs.
I have visited the Broad Street offices twice for meetings, once in February and once in March and on both occasions all three lifts to meeting rooms on upper floors were out of order.
Which company services the lifts and why has it taken so long to repair them?
Are the lifts all now in operation?
At the heart of the Disability Discrimination Law is the new duty to make reasonable adjustments. Having three lifts out of order would seem to breach this provision.
