Response

The appointment of the Chief Officer for Health and Community Services did not follow the guidelines of the Jersey Appointments Commission. An exemption to open recruitment was approved by the States Employment Board in consultation with the Minister for Health and Social Services. The rationale for this decision has been addressed in the States Assembly:
