Please provide:

B

A breakdown of where the staff working on the vaccination programme are based (Fort Regent, community clinics, administration) and so on). Also split by full time and part time workers.

C

A breakdown of how much it costs to run the vaccination service at Fort Regent per day from May 2023 (staff wages, equipment, rental costs).

Response

A

Please see table attached for details of the COVID vaccines delivered by the Vaccination Centre staff across the Vaccination Centre, Care Home and Community settings from 1 May to 17 June.

Table.pdf

A breakdown of where vaccines were delivered by location is not held by the Government of Jersey. The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 does not require a Scheduled Public Authority to create new data sets specifically for this purpose, therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

B

All staff working on the COVID vaccination programme are based at Fort Regent. The team covers COVID vaccinations administered at the Vaccination Centre, Care Homes and in community settings.

For the period of 1May – 17 June:

  • 17 full time members of staff were employed across the COVID vaccination programme.
  • 19 part-time members of staff were employed across the COVID vaccination programme.
  • This equates to a 29.4 Full Time Equivalent.

Public Health is actively reviewing COVID vaccination delivery models. This includes options around where vaccination teams should be based and where vaccinations should be delivered from. Any decisions made regarding the future delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations in Jersey will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed.

C

A breakdown of the costs to run the vaccination service at Fort Regent per day is not held by the Government of Jersey. The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 does not require a Scheduled Public Authority to create new data sets specifically for this purpose, therefore Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
