Please advise when the Government of Jersey will lodge legislation to create the Public Sector Ombudsman.

Response 

It is currently estimated that legislation that would establish a Jersey Public Services Ombudsperson will be prepared in time to be lodged in the States Assembly in Quarter 4 of 2023.  Details were set out in a letter from the Chief Minister to the Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel of 31 May 2023, which was published on www.gov.je and can be accessed via the link below.
