Request

Please share climate data for the last three years related to emissions eminating from multiple sources including traffic emissions, airport and ports as well as other recorded sources and include temperature data and CO2 and methane emission levels where possible.

This is to analyse our progress toward net zero.

Response

The attached table shows the mean monthly air temperature for Jersey for the last three years as requested.

Table.pdf

When looking at the climate of a location The Government of Jersey use a 30 year long term average (LTA). The current LTA period is for the year 1991 to 2020 and is included for comparison.

When considering how our climate is changing, the Government of Jersey looks at a comparison of the LTA data over longer periods of time.
