Please advise on whose authority was a "non-exhaustive" list added to Types of banned dogs into the Government of Jersey website?

Response

The Animal Health and Welfare Team recently added a list of dog types which have a history of being bred for fighting to the Government of Jersey webpage following the Customs and Excise (Import and Export) order 2006 which relates to the importation of certain types of dogs. This can be accessed via the link below.  

Customs and Excise (Import and Export Control) (Jersey) Order 2006 - Schedule 1 Paragraph 3 (jerseylaw.je) 

Dogs currently residing in Jersey that portray characteristics of types bred for fighting will be monitored and dogs intending to be imported into Jersey that portray characteristics of types bred for fighting will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. The Government of Jersey will be reviewing the webpage to clarify.
