The Liquid Waste team, within the Department for Infrastructure and Environment (I&E), is responsible for the management, maintenance and treatment of the foul and surface water within the sewer infrastructure.

It should be noted that the name of the department has changed a few times over the requested period, however, the Liquid Waste team have always fallen under the remit of  Minister for Infrastructure.
