Please provide information on Government of Jersey compromise agreements for this year to date.

Response

As at 6 November 2023, there have been a total of 10 compromise agreements processed this year. The total cost to the Government of Jersey in this regard is £476,295.33.

Due to the small numbers involved it is not possible to provide further details as this would likely compromise the privacy of the individuals involved. Article 25 of the Freedom of Information Law 2011 has been applied.

Article 3 - Meaning of “information held by a public authority” 

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if – 

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or 

(b)     it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
