The current trustees for the Westaway Donations Council are:

  • Micki Lewin (chairperson)
  • Brian Vibert
  • Sarah Pierce
  • Daphne Noel

 

A proposition was lodged au Greffe on 22 March 2016 by the minister for Health and Social Services to approve the appointment of Simon Spottiswoode to the Westaway Donations Council.

HSS does not hold details of the current employment of the appointed trustees.

The trustees are responsible for the administration of the trusts set up in accordance with the will of Miss Julia Westaway and then established in law in 1930 by the States of Jersey. 

The role of trustee is honorary and not remunerated.

Ecoles Elementaires grants were made in the form of shoe vouchers in 2011 and thereafter in gift vouchers.

Pauvres Honteux: the trust distributes its annual income fully between the 12 parishes split based on the size of the population in each parish. 

This is for onward distribution to those in need.
