When is the name of the new Government building due to be announced?

The Council of Ministers initiated a survey of public servants in order to support them in choosing a final name for the new Government HQ. In total, 1,345 responses were submitted.

As follows:

  • Bailiwick House 442
  • Colin Powell House 70
  • Cyril Le Marquand House 318
  • Lé Bâtisse du Gouvèrnément 247
  • Louisa Gould House 268
  • Suggestions and comments (some of which supported an above option) 242.

Currently, there is no date set for announcing the final choice as the online survey was just one aspect of engaging colleagues on the future name of the building. As this information is not held, Article 3 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.
