How many instances of emergency vehicles (eg police cars, fire engines, ambulances) needing roadside assistance were recorded between 2004 -15? If the data doesn’t stretch back to 2004, please use the earliest you have.

In such cases, was the cost of recovery paid to a 3rd party? If so, what is the current call out charge?

Only one instance is recorded of a third party providing assistance, in 2011.

There is no current contract for a third party provider as assistance is provided by the States of Jersey fleet management service.
