Please advise how many emails were sent by the government in 2023.

Of those emails, please confirm how many had image attachments.

Please confirm the average file size for image attachments.

Please confirm if consideration was given to host signature footer images (the department name and related Government of Jersey logos) on a website and not attach them into the email? If not, what is the rational for embedding signature images within emails?

Please advise if a carbon impact analysis has been completed on the digital footprint for Government of Jersey email attachments?

The Government of Jersey does not hold a list of emails and attachments sent in 2023, therefore this information is not held, and Article 10 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.  

D

There is no record of consideration having been given to the hosting of signature footer images on a website and not attached into the email.   

E

A carbon impact analysis has not been completed on the digital footprint for Government of Jersey email attachments.
