Following Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the two post boxes in the lobby outside the Post Office in Broad Street, painted in traditional red, were painted yellow and blue, the colours of Ukraine.

Whose decision was it to repaint them?

B

Why was it decfided to repaint them?

C

When will they be restored to the traditional red paint, and who will make the decision?

D

Is it henceforward going to be policy to re-paint traditional “items” according to who is taking whose side in a conflict?

E

With the conflict involving Israel, Gaza, Palestine for instance, I am not aware of any moves to semi-permanently paint over any “items”. Please confirm.
