I am emailing concerning some details I would like to know about Jersey Fire & Rescue Service. I have tried to find the most recent Annual Report or Financial Statement online, without success.

Could you please either point me in the right direction of finding the details, or send me the information for the following:

A

The total expenditure of the service.

B

Total number of employees.

C

How many stations the service work from.

Net revenue expenditure for 2015:  £5,263,059.

Total number:

  • 73.54 whole time firefighters, civil servants and manual workers
  • 38.00 retained firefighters

C

The Jersey Fire and Rescue Service operates from two premises:

  • Headquarters (whole time and retained firefighters plus support staff)
  • Western Fire Station (retained firefighters)
